One of the objectives of the Nairobi beautification program is to provide employment to the
youths through the Kazi kwa vijana (KKV)project. Above are some of the youths in the KKV program planting the Durante’s along Mombasa road.
The way a city looks and feels has a direct psychological and social impact on its stability,
economic drive, and growth of that city. Dr. Alfred Mutua and
the NCBDA chairman Mr. Timothy Muriuki joins the kazi kwa vijana team in planting the Durante’s
during the launch of the beautification project.

The government is planning to set around 20,000 cctv along all streets in the town.
